At the top of Södra Hamngatan 49 in Gothenburg, summer drinks, stunning views and all-day sunshine await. On April 29, Johanna Rooftop Bar opens.
Since Johanna Steakhouse opened its doors in late March, the dining room has been fully booked – and now the restaurant is expanding further. On April 29, Johanna’s rooftop bar opens, a large terrace with breathtaking views over Gothenburg.
“Johanna Rooftop Bar will become an oasis in the city centre – it feels like another world, while still being deeply connected to Gothenburg. It’s hard to describe just how spectacular the view is, you simply have to come and experience it,” says Nora Juraskovic, Restaurant Manager at Johanna, who will lead the terrace.
The terrace enjoys sunshine all day, from morning to sunset. Located on the seventh floor, just above the rooftops, it offers unobstructed views with no buildings in the way – while still keeping you right in the heart of the city unfolding below. The terrace accommodates up to 300 guests, with more than half of the seating available at tables.
Here, the focus is on the view and what’s in your glass. The drink menu features refreshing, summery cocktails – exactly what you want during the warmer months.
“If you’re looking for something small to eat, there will of course be snacks, but our bartenders will put a lot of care into what’s in your glass. For something more substantial, guests can head inside to the dining room or bar area before or after their time on the terrace, where our à la carte menu is served throughout the summer. We aim to create the warmest and most welcoming spot in Gothenburg – a place you simply don’t want to leave,” says Nora Juraskovic.
Johanna Rooftop Bar follows the restaurant’s opening hours: from 16:00 Monday to Thursday, 11:30 on Fridays, and 14:00 on Saturdays.
